Training & Services
At the Distinguished Dog, our training philosophy follows the science-based, modern techniques achieved through positive reinforcement training. Positive reinforcement consists of a stimulus (reward) that is added to the environment immediately after the desired behavior has been exhibited. Simply put, I change behaviors by rewarding “good” behavior and not reacting to the “bad” behavior.
The Distinguished Dog supports and guides pet owners who are struggling with puppy behaviors, reactive “aggressive” dogs, shy/fearful dogs, as well special needs (deaf, blind, etc). Our training techniques will never leave you doubting your actions. Our goal is to strengthen the bond between humans and dogs to create a long-lasting relationship through fun and rewarding training.
